Arisaema tosaense is a slender, vigorously growing Jack in the pulpit species native to Shikoku Island, Japan. These plants grow best in shade and a well drained humus rich soil, making it an ideal companion for most of the Lady’s Slippers and Calanthe orchids. USDA zone 5 – 9.

SHIPPING TO MAINE THIS WINTER WAS EXCEPTIONALLY DIFFICULT. THE PLANTS WERE ALREADY A GOOD SZ WITH LEAVES ALMOST UNFOLDING.  SEATTLE ORCHID WAITED FOR A WINDOW SO THAT THEY COULD SHIP.  EVERYTHING WAS VERY CAREFULLY PACKED AND ARIVED IN UNBELIEVABLY GREAT SHAPE.  THANK YOU SEATTLE ORCHID...JOB WELL DONE AND THE PLANTS ARE SPECTACULAR!
