An unusual orchid species from S. Africa. These are wet growers and like to remain slightly damp.
Disa Kewpride, potted in 2" pots, currently showing growth above the potting medium. These are near blooming size to bloom this year or next.
White markings on the leafs are residual anti-fungal spray from the grower, but will wash off easily. Disa are hypersensitive to any water which is not distilled, rain water, etc. It is natural for them to have some brown leaf tips, slight spotting on leafs, etc. as this is not avoidable. They are found in nature like this. These have small rocks on top of their growing medium to help hinder algae growth on the moss.
