5 of 5 Habenaria and others May 5, 2017

I have ordered eleven orchids from Seattle Orchids.  I like the species orchids and ones hard to find.  I have ordered a few hybrids like the Psychopsis Mendenhall Hildos.  They all arrived in good condition, even ones in spike.  They are healthy and continue to thrive.  The Psychopsis continues to put out a bloom spike even though it fell off the table and has little potting mix left.  At some point I will have to fill up the pot with new mix.  The Habenaria is a new experiment for me.  I remember them from my childhood in western North Carolina.  I must find a spot in my yard where the deer won't eat it.
