Ordering & Shipping Policies
We ship Monday - Wed only by FedEx or a comparable carrier. FedEx 2nd-Day purchases will arrive in 2 days Guaranteed. Items purchased using USPS Priority will arrive 3 - 4 days.
- Deliveries to the west coast (California, Oregon, Washington) usually arrive the next day.
- Deliveries to areas east of California will arrive two days later.
- To be sure your orchids arrive in excellent condition, we do not ship on Thursdays and Fridays to the east coast or to any location where the delivery would take longer than two days.
- If you request a Saturday delivery or a one-day delivery to locations other than the west coast, FedEx requires an additional shipping fee. (See below.) Saturday delivery is not available in most areas.
FedEx Home Delivery
Home Delivery is offered only to WA, OR, and CA States (Except for orders with only non-perishable items [i.e. pots, fertlizer, bark]). If you select the 'Home Delivery' option on the delivery information page and do not live in one of these states, your order will NOT be shipped via USPS Priority. You will be contacted for more information and charged for FedEx 2nd-day shipping. If you live in Southern California, and choose 'Home Delivery', your order will arrive at the end of 3 business days. Please consider 2nd-day if you live in this area.
Shipping Costs
Additional fees apply for priority handling:
- Guaranteed overnight priority shipping: $10.00 additional
- Saturday delivery: $10.00 additional (Saturday delivery is not available in many areas. Please ask.)
Our Guarantee
We guarantee our plants to arrive in excellent condition, either in bloom or ready to bloom. All orchids leave our nursery in top-notch condition, carefully packed for protection during shipping. Once in a while, however, extreme weather or shipping difficulties may cause problems beyond our control. We will cheerfully offer a replacement or refund if your orchid arrives damaged or in poor condition. Please contact us promptly if this is the case!
We cannot guarantee that orchids will live forever, but with proper care they should live for years. We include care instructions with every shipment to help the new owners care properly for their beautiful plants.
