This was part of a 3 plant order for which shipping took longer than usual due to delays with the grower of one of the plants.
As a courtesy, Seattle Orchid gave me store credit for the price of this orchid with a note on the receipt that said "Free. Smaller plant and long shipping time. Thank for your patience" (Paraphrasing).
Aside from sending them an email to make sure everything was ok with the order, I didn't even complain about the shipping delay.
I'm blown away that they extended such a generous gesture to make up for something they felt wasn't up to their usual standard. An excellent display of professionalism and integrity.
Seattle Orchid is a real stand up vendor that stands behind their products!
Every plant I've ever ordered from Seattle Orchid has been exactly as advertised or better. This is one of the few vendors that I know I can fully trust every time I place an order.
