This is the second time I've purchased from Seattle orchid. My friend has used them in the past and been very happy, so I thought I would give it a whirl. My first order was several very tiny orchids, and I was a bit surprised at how small they actually were. Some were only an inch tall! They came very nicely packed and are doing well. Note to self; new starts are tiny. My second order I decided to buy an established orchid, the Red Silk HOF. When it arrived, I was really surprised at the size of the box. It was at least 30" long. When I opened it the orchid was carefully wrapped in shredded newspaper and then an additional outer wrapping. I carefully unwrapped it. The orchid is blooming and has an approx. 15-18" stem of blooms that are just starting to open. The plant is very large and robust. I couldn't be happier. I'll be purchasing from Seattle Orchid again.
