Tacca chantrieri 'Black' (Black Bat Flower). 4" Pot, blooming size. An unusual and very hard to find plant (not an orchid) from Malaysia. The main attraction to the plant are the strange purple-black flowers. The flowers resemble a bat in flight. Partial shade, warm, high humidity and constantly damp are what this fast grower needs.
These blooms will start green as they open and slowly turn black from the light.
