Many years ago, I lost all my orchids to a bad case of scale. I didn't believe it when I was told to get rid of the infected plant with dire results. As a result, I have not had orchids for at least a decade. A neighbor asked me to take care of her orchids while she was out of town. That was now four orchids ago.
The plants arrived in a timely fashion, are healthy, and as far as I can tell, disease-free.
