Cattleya dowiana v. aurea ’Net Dream', 2” basket, just repotted 6//4/26

The aurea form typically has larger flowers than standard dowiana, including a different scent. Cattleya dowiana aurea likes less light than most Cattleya, particularly in the summer months. In winter months they go semi-dormant and need less water without fertilizer and less potting medium. Be cautious about watering as they like their roots to dry and not be overly wet/damp, particularly in the winter when cooler.
